Beltane - The Blood Mystery Ceremony


The first offering I will be doing as a priestess, is to create a ceremony for Beltane - or in the Daughters of Ishtar tradition, The Blood Mystery. This is a ceremony to:


  • Deepen the maiden archetype (no matter which stage you are in life)
  • Creating a deeper connection to your womb and cycles
  • Connect to the midpoint between the equinox and the solstice
  • Understanding the blood mystery - connected to ancient goddess and priestess traditions
  • Harnessing the energy of this midpoint preparing us for the Sovereign Power Mystery
  • Deepening your cyclical practices and learning about it through ancient traditions


As a priestess of Ishtar (she with many names; Inanna, Estarte, Ostara, Aphrodite and Venus) I am initiated to bring the Chalice of the great mother into the spiral of life and transmit this healing and nourishing energy throughout the ceremony.
