What does the Goddess symbolise for you and what is your relationship with her?
The Divine manifests in different forms and shapes and how we perceive the Divine depends on what we need on our path, our past lives and what aspect of the Divine that we are meant to walk with. The relationship is personal and sometimes we forget this amidst mundane life experiences.
To me, She is the Mother of all Mothers, she is the Divine embrace, the Queen and the Healer. Walking by her side, in mutual devotion is to walk in complete faith and trust, knowing that She is holding my hand. She assists my own healing as well as the healing I give to others. She has guided me through darkness and light. She has given me the challenges I needed to experience and she has supported me through it all.
She has indeed show her different faces to me, especially the lineage of the rose, from the Sumerian form of Ishtar all the way to the Black Madonna, Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene.
